Bespoke Design process

#1

We start with an initial consultation to get an idea of what your vision is. We discuss your inspiration and ask you to share any reference pictures you have. We will discuss colors, fabrics, silhouettes, and any other details that are relevant to the design.

#2

The next step is making a sketch if necessary to ensure we have properly understood your vision. Things that need to be discussed include: silhouette, color, fabric, embroidery, detailing, fit, etc... If we are changing the color of an existing design, we will make a mockup with the new color incorporated (if necessary).

Once the sketch is approved, then we source the fabrics and raw materials.

We also tale your measurements at this time. .We make a test fit garment from markin fabric or an alternative if necessary. Test fits are generally useful for blouse sizing and deciding how a certain neck style looks on you. We occasionally do them for outfits and gowns as well to ensure the fit/neck style/length all work well. We also do them for menswear. Once you receive the test fit and try it on, we make adjustments as necessary to ensure the best fit possible.

We also make a swatch if necessary for your approval. This helps when we need to show you the color, fabric and embroidery for approval.

The final life size drawing is made and shared for your approval. Once approved, we can move onto embroidery.
